The Hosted SEL Libraries are provided to save you time in developing your own adventures or to provide examples and a base for coding SEL functions of your own.
There are two ways to use these libraries in your adventures:
1) Copy the libraries to your own SEL library or Book SEL file
At this time I recommend this option, since the libraries are still very much under development and may change without warning. Making yor own copy tied to a particular adventure ensures that any changes I make to the library will not affect how your adventure works.
2) ‘Include’ the library with your Book SEL file
Including libraries is the ideal method of using functions with a book, though for practical reasons not yet reliable. You may include Hosted libraries in the editor just as you would include your own libraries, simply load the SEL file for your book in the Functions editor, scroll down to the ‘Included Files’ section, highlight the SEL Libraries that are currently in the excluded column that you wish to use (hold down ctrl to select multiple files) and click ‘Save’. The highlighted files will move to the ‘Included’ column, and any functions in those libraries will be avaiable for use anywhere in your Book. Excluding files (i.e. ‘un-including’) is simply a matter of highlighting included libraries and clicking Save.
